Wednesday Weather Forecast – November 22, 2023

Good morning. Here is the Wednesday weather forecast for Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Models were about 3 degrees off this morning. We hit a low of 28 degrees. That said, my forecast for today will be 3 degrees lower from the reporting HRRR models on the College of Dupage site. My Atlas is about two degrees lower than the official COOP National Weather Service provided Nimbus, sitting at 26° F. Skies are clear this morning. Winds are calm.

There is not a whole lot going on for today’s forecast. It’s pretty quiet, and even the WPC shows nothing but a warm front to our west. Clear skies will dominate the day. We may shift to an overcast to mostly cloudy by about 11 am today, but it will only last about an hour.

Blue Springs Forecast – Spring-like Weather

Blue Springs Forecast for rain.

Blue Springs Forecast for Monday, February 20, 2023. Good evening everyone. Here are our current conditions as of 6:16 PM tonight. The current temperature is sitting at 54.5°. We had a high of 62°. The barometric pressure is 29.8 inches and steady. Winds are at 2 mph from the southeast. The dew point is at 29°, and the relative humidity is at 34%. The skies are cloudy.

Blue Springs Forecast

We are heading into spring-like weather this week, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s during the day and in the 30s over the evening hours. The temperature will be back down to the 30s during the day. By Thursday evening, the temperature will struggle to get to 31°. By Friday morning at about 7:00, the temperatures will be in the upper teens.

We may see some snow on Friday, but all the accumulation will be way north in the Minnesota area, which looks like there is a pretty good possibility of some impressive snow amounts there. We may be dealing with rain this Wednesday morning and the possibility of snow on Friday. The rain could be significant enough to give us a decent ground drenching. The WPC tells us we could see up to a quarter of an inch or more in our area.

Blue Springs Forecast from WPC for Rain in excess of three quarters of an inch or higher

On another note, I hope you will consider supporting my weather research page called Project Stormfront. There I will be posting true scientific research without the agendas. I have already moved my research paper on solar intensity to that site and tweaked it a bit more.

Significant Snow Weekend. Get Ready To Shovel Chiefs Kingdom?

Good evening. It has been a while since I brought you an update. With the Chiefs and Eagles (Both my favorites) playing this weekend We may be dealing with some snow during the Chiefs game. In all reality, I want to see the Chiefs play the Eagles this season in the Super Bowl because I believe that would be a great game to watch. The 49ers is going to be a tough hurdle for all the teams playing. So I am not sure if the Eagles will make it, but they have in the past. We will just have to wait and see. Go, Chiefs, and fly Eagles fly!

Here is Blue Springs Weather this evening. So we have been dealing with a wet day today for most of the day and into the evening. According to the Acurite Atlas, We are currently sitting at 34.7 degrees as of 7:28 pm this evening. The current pressure sits at 29.62 inches. Winds are South at 6 mph. Relative humidity at 96% and dew point at 36 degrees. According to the Accurite rain gauge, we received 0.6 inches of precipitation at this time. No lightning strikes were recorded.

Blue Springs Forecast reveals a couple of things. Snow and rain. We may be dealing with snow first thing in the morning at about 7 am, with heavy snow possible by 8 am. The WPC shows no accumulation, but it may be focused on mostly vegetation if it does accumulate. I cannot rule it completely out.

It looks like we will be dealing with some Snow starting at about 3 pm Saturday, according to the GFS. Keep in mind this weather forecast can change. According to GFS, snow amounts are sitting at about 1.7 inches. Don’t hold to that since this is the GFS and can over-emphasize things. I will have a better update

November 6th 2019 Forecast

Good morning Blue Springs! It’s hump day! Temperature is not too bad outside. Winds are practically at a standstill. Skies are lit up with stars with a clear morning sky. I hope everyone had a good night sleep and your week has gone well. If it has not, I’m praying that God will see you through it.

CURRENT CONDITIONS

Current temperature is 38.9°. We had a high of 54.5 and a low of 32.7 over the past 24 hours. Relative humidity is 93%. Barometric pressure is 1019 and steady. MODEL DISCUSSION

Current model steel show trace precipitation by 7pm this evening. Total precipitation when it is all said and done will be .02 inches give or take. The Eastern edge of Jackson County could get as much as .04 inches give or take. Models do show the possibility of freezing rain during this time frame but the accumulations are minimal and should not cause any problems. You should always lean on the side of caution and keep an eye on temperatures if you are out driving and it’s raining out. I did notice that rain switches to sleet about 35 degrees when I watched the last system that we had produce a mix.

Veterans Day weekend, if you are off on Monday like I am, it is looking like a beautiful three day weekend with no precipitation. Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. Clear skies through Sunday. So that gives you all time to pick up all those fall leaves out of your yard. If anybody wants to pick up the leaves in my yard, feel free 😁.

Opening day for deer season looks to be wet at this time across most of Missouri. Something to prepare for if you are planning on going out that weekend.

That is pretty much it for today. Have a safe trip to work. Enjoy your hump day. Be safe driving home. Praying for you all.

Friday night, temperatures in the upper 20s. Chance of precipitation 0%. Dew point temperature in the low 30s. Skies will be mostly clear.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Looking at models for today, looks like we will have a wet day as rain continues throughout the day into the evening. Looks like models are predicting .3 inches of snow by evening as well. Whether or not that will stick is questionable with temperatures. Rapid refresh model shows a measurement of 1.2 inches buy Halloween, but after yesterday’s Fiasco I doubt it will be. We should start to dry out by early tomorrow morning at 4 am. We should be good weather wise through the weekend. Highs for the weekend will be in the forties to upper 40s and lows in the 30s.

That is about it for today, be safe driving to work and from work to home tonight.

October 26th 2019 Forecast

Good morning Blue Springs! Beautiful sky. If you go outside this morning, look to the north high in the sky you will see Orion. If you turn around to the South, look high in the sky and you will see the Big Dipper. It is chilly this morning. There is heavy dew on the rain gauge.

MODEL DISCISSION

Current model show rain after 7pm Sunday night continuing into the morning around 7am Monday. Another round starting Monday between 7 and 10pm and rolling out by about 7am Tuesday morning. Our snow chances I’ve been pushed forward a little, with snow starting about 1 am Wednesday morning and continuing true Halloween and ending by early Friday morning. Snow amounts will be measurable. I just don’t trust the amounts that the models are talking about. Regardless I am pretty sure trick or treaters are going to be in snow boots and heavy coats and gloves. Temperatures for Halloween will be in the 20s in the evening at this time.

As for the cold front, it will arrive by 10am Monday morning. Temperatures will continue to fall throughout the week next week. By Friday morning, temperatures will be in the upper teens. Looks like average temperatures will be in the low 40s at the beginning of November as we progress into winter.

That is pretty much it for today. Enjoy your weekend. You may want to get prepared for snow by getting your shovels ready and ice melt.

October 24th 2019 Forecast

Barometric pressure 1023( 30.21 inches) and rising. Winds at 2 gusting to 4 out of the north-northwest. Dew point temperature 36°. Feels like 37°.

CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK

Convective Outlook shows no chance of non severe or severe thunderstorms over the next three days.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Model show rain possible after 10pm tonight, ending by 7 or 8am Friday morning. Another round of rain possible by 7am Saturday morning, Ending by 4pm that afternoon. Rain amounts for both days are less than a .10 inches over a 6 hour accumulation time frame, which tells me it’s not going to be too heavy. Sunday morning at 10am has a trace of rain possible. As for snow, there is still a possible chance around 7pm or there after on Monday evening. Snow amounts have been reduced to a Trace to even no snow at all depending on which method you use. If you have been following my page for any length of time you notice that the initial amounts were huge and then it reduces down and stabilizes to a more accurate amount. This was why we should never go crazy when the weather media says something is going to happen a week out and they say it’s going to be terrible. Always wait within a 24-hour time span and you should get a good idea of what’s going to happen. Even then, it could change at a moment’s notice. Especially in the winter time and the fall. I am not sure why, but it seems that weather changes more frequently than it does in the summer and spring.

That is about it. Have a safe trip to and from work, and enjoy your day. As always, I’m available to chat if you are having a bad day I actually enjoy talking with you all.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Thursday October 24th at about noon or 1pm we have a system moving in bringing some rain. Looks like to be out of the area by Friday morning. We will find out more probably by tomorrow afternoon.

Snow is still in the forecast for Monday October 28th starting about 10pm. Snow amounts look to be one to two tenths of an inch at this time from the 4 to 5 inches that popped up a couple of days ago. Every now and then that snow prediction disappears but then comes back in the next round of forecast data.

That is pretty much it for today. Have a great day today and be safe driving to and from work.

October 21st 2019 Forecast

Good morning Blue Springs! It is Monday. Rain has moved out. Skies are clear. Everything is wet from the system that move through. Pretty sure it was a quiet night, and just rain unless I slept through it all.

CURRENT CONDITIONS

Temperature is 49.8°. We had a high of 65.3 and a low of 42.5 over the past 24 hours. Relative humidity 99%. Barometric pressure is 997(29.44 inches) and falling. Winds are at 2 gusting to 7 out of the Southwest. Dew point temperature is 49°. We received .66 inches of rain with a pH of 8. CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK

Convective Outlook shows no chance of severe or non severe thunderstorms over the next three days.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Our next chance of weather will be on Wednesday October 23rd, but I’m thinking that it’s not going to produce anything because precipitation and simulated reflection do not match. We will have to wait until we get closer to that day to see if it’s going to do anything or not. Timeframe shows about 7am ending about 4pm. But with the inconsistencies at this time, it may be nothing. October 24th at 7 a.m. looks like a possible chance of rain, but again don’t know the details until we get to that point. Then there is October 29th into 30th, snow chances or still in that forecast. The system starts off as rain. In some areas ice, shifting to snow on the backside of the system. I would say the snow shift will start about 7am Wednesday morning.Models are still changing constantly, but our snow chances look promising for the end of October. Have a good day and be safe.

October 16th 2019 Forecast

Good morning Blue Springs! Have you ever had one of those nights where your brain does not want to shut off? That is what happened to me last night. I did use some of that time to pray for those that reached out to me yesterday. I feel like I’ve been up all night. Does not help that you get up every morning at 4:30. The way I see it, I can either focus on the fact that I was up all night and be miserable today, or have an attitude of this too shall pass. I’m going to choose the second option.

CURRENT CONDITIONS

Another crisp morning. Light dew on the grass, and a little on the rain gauge. Skies are partly cloudy. No precipitation report. Current temperature 37.9°. We had a high of 64.7 and a low of 37.6 over the past 24 hours. Relative humidity 90%. Barometric pressure 1019 and steady. Winds are at 0 gusting to 2 out of the south-southwest. Thursday, temperatures will be back up into the upper 60s. Chance of rain 0%. Dew point temperature will be in the low 40s. Skies will be clear.

Thursday night, temperatures in the low 50s. Chance of rain 0%. Dew point temperature in the mid to upper 40s. Skies will be clear shifting to partly cloudy by 4am.

Friday temperatures will be in the low 70s. Chance of rain 1%. Dew point temperature in the upper 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy shifting to mostly clear after morning.

Friday night, temperatures in the low 50s. Chance of rain 43%. Dew point temperature upper 40s. Skies will be clear shifting to partly cloudy to cloudy.

CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK

Convective Outlook shows no chance of severe or non severe thunderstorms over the next two days. Friday into Saturday shows a chance of non severe thunderstorms in our area.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Models show a chance of trace rain tomorrow morming around 7am in our area. This may or may not happen. Friday evening around 10pm another system shows up, continues off and on through the night, ending about 10am Saturday morning. Another system pops in Tuesday October 20th at roughly 10pm. Another low temperature system arrives around 7am on Monday October 28th. Temperatures appear to be in the mid-thirties. Wednesday October 30th at 1am is something to keep an eye on, as temperatures will plummet to the low 20s. If this happens, October will have its first hard freeze for the year. October 31st does not show any precipitation at this time, and shows temperatures in the upper 40s by 7pm.

Low 20s Wednesday October 30th.

That is pretty much it for today. Have a safe trip to work. Praying for all who reached out to me last night. May God bless you tremendously, and encourage you, and empower you, and increase your faith, and show you he is still there.
