THE IMPORTANT STUFF

Good morning Blue Springs! Another weekend has gone oh, and another Monday has arrived. I am not sure why we have put this profile on Monday as being the worst day. I don’t look at it that way. Any day of the week can be just as bad. It all depends on perspective. I am thankful that I woke up today. We cannot guarantee every heartbeat of Our Lives. God knows how many heartbeats we will beat till we take our last one. The real question we need to ask ourselves is where will we go after we take our last breath. I know where I will go, do you? If you are concerned about that, please let me know. I can help you know the answer. It is a wonderful thing to understand I know where you go when you took your last breath. He gives you a peace that surpasses all understanding. The changes your perspective on life and death. Life is but a vapor. You can have purpose. You can have meaning. I can help you find that. You may think that life is great right now, but it can be better for you. You can be set free from the bondages in your life. Many people that I have talked to, and shared, and have accepted the freedom in Christ, I’ve always stated that the weight that they have been carrying for so many years, has been lifted. A person that truly cares for another person will reveal it through their words and their actions with no expectation of a return. I want you all to know I pray for you often, to and from work. I beg God daily that He would reveal himself to you, and radically change your lives just like He has changed mine. It is unfair that I keep this to myself, when I know that it is real. How much do you have to hate a person, to not share was in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, and how he died, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. The greatest thing about being in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, is that I didn’t have to do anything first. All I had to do was Reach Out with open hands and humility, asking Jesus to forgive me and to come into my life to save me. That alone, cause me to change my direction, my path, my heart. I was set free of all my bondages in sin and God gave me joy and peace unspeakable. He can do that for you too. Just reach out to me. Don’t wait another day. Don’t Wait Another Minute. You don’t have the promise of tomorrow oh, you don’t even have the promise of the next minute or second. As far as you know today will be your last day. I want you to spend eternity in heaven with me and the many others that have received Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.

MODEL DISCUSSION

I may have these times a little mixed up with the time change. Please bear with me as I try and figure this out over the next couple of times. Not sure if I should subtract 5 or 6 hours from that time.

Models for today Show rain starting at 1pm in the northern part of Jackson County, moving southward. Rain should be in the Blue Springs area by 3pm today or a little before. Rain will continue till about 6pm this evening. Rain amounts will only be a trace so more than likely it will be a drizly misty type rain.

Our next chance of precipitation will be around Wednesday evening late around 11pm. Friday November 8th around 3 p.m. could have the possibility of some flurries, but models do not show any accumulation.

As for Veterans Day it looks like we could have a dusting or a Trace by 7am Monday morning. Models have changed substantially for that day. We may be avoiding the ice according to this model, but Southern Jackson County could get a trace of ice.

That is pretty much up for today folks. I hope and pray you would consider what I talked about in the beginning of this post. This is coming from somebody who cares very much about your eternal destination, as well as getting to know you as a person. I would love to discuss more about this to you whether it is on Facebook, or some other means. May your day be a blessing today. Be careful driving to work and coming home.

I will have to check before 6am report time for the National Weather Service.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Current models show a misty drizzly day today. With measurable amounts happening around 3pm or so. Rain will continue into the evening hours. By about 10pm we will receive rain snow mix. The system should be out by midnight or so. Snow amounts overnight about 1 in according to the models. Snow will start back up by 4am on Halloween, increasing snow amounts to 1.9 inches total over those couple of days. That would be a more accurate reading 12 inches that GFS is predicting. Regardless we will have some measurable amount of snow. As we draw closer to Halloween we will get a more favorable amount of snow totals. As for the ice possibilities looks like we may get a trace in Jackson County area, not sure if it will be in Blue Springs or not around 10am Tuesday.

That is about it for today, be safe driving to and from work. Till next time.

CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK

Convective Outlook shows no chance of severe or non severe thunderstorms over the next three days.

MODEL DISCUSSION

Our next chance of weather will be on Wednesday October 23rd, but I’m thinking that it’s not going to produce anything because precipitation and simulated reflection do not match. We will have to wait until we get closer to that day to see if it’s going to do anything or not. Timeframe shows about 7am ending about 4pm. But with the inconsistencies at this time, it may be nothing. October 24th at 7 a.m. looks like a possible chance of rain, but again don’t know the details until we get to that point. Then there is October 29th into 30th, snow chances or still in that forecast. The system starts off as rain. In some areas ice, shifting to snow on the backside of the system. I would say the snow shift will start about 7am Wednesday morning.Models are still changing constantly, but our snow chances look promising for the end of October. Have a good day and be safe.

October 14th 2019 Forecast

Good morning Blue Springs! Happy Columbus Day! The weekend was a great! After spending time with my Savior at worship yesterday morning, I spent the day with my wife and our grandson while our son and daughter-in-law spent the day celebrating their anniversary. We had a blast! We drove out to Kansas, to Deanna Rose children’s farmstead. We saw a bunch of farm animals. We ate kettle corn. We fed goats, chickens. We rode a horse drawn wagon. We had Taco Bell for lunch. Freddy’s for dinner. The night before my wife and I went to Liberty corn maze with our youth group. We had about 67 people total. We had a devotion, ate pizza, I got lost in the corn maze! I was so exhausted from the weekend, I went to bed at 8:30 last night. It was a good exhaustion though. Got my first QC report from the National Weather Service from September’s weather reports, and there was no problems with any of the reports. It is now on its way up to the Climate Center to be archived and a final QC.

CURRENT WEATHER

Skies are clear, no precipitation report. There’s heavy dew on the rain gauge. Temperature is 38.0°. We had a high of 64.7 and a low of 37.5. Relative humidity is 96%. Barometric pressure is 1014(29.94 inches) and steady. Winds are at 0. Dew point temperature 34°. Feels like 32°.

CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK

Convective Outlook for today shows no chance of severe or non severe thunderstorms. Tomorrow shows a chance of non severe thunderstorms. Wednesday shows no chance of severe or non severe thunderstorms.

Models today are all over the place and inconsistent. Two out of the three models that I look at, show no possibility of rain for Tuesday. The third one still shows rain on Tuesday afternoon about 4pm. Friday evening about 10pm give or take is our next major rain event. It will last till about 10am Saturday morning, but won’t have a significant amount. Another larger system will be upon us on Sunday morning early. It will continue into Monday morning October 21st. We’ll have more details as we draw closer to these particular days. Right now it’s just too far to get granular in the details.

Tuesday afternoon.

Friday evening into Saturday morning.

Sunday morning.

That is about it for today. If your employer gives you the day off on Columbus Day like mine, enjoy your day. If not, for those of you that are driving to work, be careful.
